Die Augen der Welt sind regelmäßig auf die großen Fashion Weeks gerichtet, diese Städte als Modemetropolen und Mekkas für Fashion-Victims heiß begehrt: Paris, New York, London und Co. sind klingende Namen und lassen das Herz jedes Modeliebhabers höher schlagen.

Mode-Events rund um die Welt
Dabei gibt es auf der ganzen Welt Fashion Weeks und groß angelegte Shows, auf denen nicht nur lokale, sondern oft auch internationale Designer ihre neuesten Kollektionen präsentieren. Die Fashion Week in Wien, die dieses Jahr im September stattfindet, ist ein Ereignis, auf das Modefreunde seit langem warten, aber wie sieht es mit den riesigen Events in Indien, Panama oder Mexiko aus?

Farbenspiele
Parallel zu den Couture-Weeks in Rom und Paris sowie zu den Modewochen in Berlin und Miami zeigten Designer aus Hong Kong, Amsterdam, Dakar uvm. ihr Können und präsentierten, was die Trends des nächsten Frühjahrs und Sommer bestimmen soll. Dabei spielen Farben die wichtigste Rolle. In ihrer Experimentierfreudigkeit lassen die Designer pompöse Kleider in leuchtenden Farben erstrahlen, Agatha Ruiz de la Prada ('die andere Prada') zeigte wie immer Looks, die einfach nur Spaß machen. In Barcelona zog Designer Lee Jean Youn seiner 'Braut' ein Jeanskleid und eine schwarze Strumpfhose an.
