Seit Winteranfang gab es 175 Kältetote. Nachts minus 24 Grad.
Durch eine ungewöhnliche Kältewelle sind seit Anfang März in Polen mindestens 25 Menschen gestorben. Damit gab es seit Winteranfang 175 Kältetote, wie die Polizei am Dienstag mitteilte. In den vergangenen Tagen sank das Thermometer im Nordosten des Landes auf minus 15 Grad am Tag und minus 24 Grad nachts. Allein im Dezember waren 62 Menschen durch die Kälte gestorben.
