Die wohl wichtigsten US-Designer zeigten diese Woche ihre neuesten Kreationen bei der New Yorker Fashion Week. Darunter auch das Label Lacoste, dessen Designer sich von Skiuniformen des französischen Teams bei der Olympiade 1966 inspirieren ließ. Urgesteine der amerikanischen Modeszene wie Donna Karan, Tommy Hilfiger und Diane von Furstenberg blieben ihrem traditionellen Stil treu.
Donna Karan zeigte New Yorker Business-Chic in gedämpften Tönen, Tommy Hilfiger blieb dem American-Preppy-Stil treu und Diane von Furstenberg zeigte traumhafte Roben in knalligen Farben und setzte auf Colour-Blocking.
